7 Qualities of a Servent

Last week, Pastor Kong shared this with us.

7 qualities of serventhood.

1) Serventhood is willing
2) Serventhood excels.
3) Serventhood is swift
4) Serventhood is never convenient
5) Serventhood is honouring
6) Serventhood is work
7) Serventhood is caring for people.


The message that touched me the most is about willingness. I realised sometimes due to circumstance, we will not want to sow in to good work. We will tend to complain about every and anything. Yes, we might be human but we are more a servent than human. We are not just man and women but we are Christians. I told God that I am willing and He reminded me what I said. It really touches me. I remember once I kneel in front of my kitchen and say "Father, take my soul away today. I am willing to serve You. I don't want me but I want Jesus in me!" And from that day on, the changes start to happen and I was deeply touched by this message again. I can be a fool for God. I don't care what others think about me now, I just want Jesus in me.

For point number 2, I don't think I am doing very well with this. I must start to excel and be a good finisher. I have to complete what I have started if not I will have no point starting what I have been doing and trying to achieve.

Make me a servent, my hearts ever true.
